Staff and Administrative Volunteers
- Box Office volunteers have the opportunity to work during the week or on weekends. These volunteers sell tickets over the phone and at the box office. They may be asked to make calls to our flex and season pass holders, helping them to reserve their seats for an upcoming show. Training is required for this position and a minimum of 10-20 hours of volunteer hours per year is required.
- The House Manager is required to arrive at the theatre two hours before the start of the show (for example, for 7:30 arrive 5:30). This individual makes sure the theatre is ready to open to patrons by checking all exits, restrooms, and making sure that the heat/air conditioner is on the correct temperature setting. The House Manager counts and puts the cash in the concession and box office drawers. The House Manager greets the volunteers to be sure these individuals know which position they have volunteered for and understand the requirements of the position. There is light accounting required, such as counting and posting the box office/concession receipts for the show. The House Manager also stays after the show to be sure the theatre is clean and secure. Training is required for this position and a minimum of 10-20 volunteer hours per year is required.
Administrative Volunteers may be needed to work during regular office hours, which are 10:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday – Friday. The tasks of these volunteers include data entry, answering the phone, helping with mailers, running errands, going to the post office and sorting the mail.
